Delfos
Delfos, located on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, was one of the most sacred religious centers of ancient Greece. Known as the "navel of the world," Delphi was home to the famous Oracle of Apollo, visited by kings, philosophers, and warriors from the 8th century BC onward. Its temples, theaters, and sacred pathways reveal the spiritual and cultural greatness of Hellenic civilization. The ecosystem of Mount Parnassus features Mediterranean forests filled with cypress, pine, and oak trees, alongside aromatic herbs such as thyme and oregano. During spring, alpine flowers bloom across the mountain slopes. Local wildlife includes foxes, hares, golden eagles, and mountain goats adapted to the rocky terrain. Thanks to its elevation and mild climate, the region preserves remarkable biodiversity and dramatic landscapes where history, mythology, and nature coexist in one of Greece's most extraordinary settings.

Mount Parnassus
Mount Parnassus, located north of the Gulf of Corinth, is one of Greece's most iconic mountains and a historic symbol of artistic and spiritual inspiration. In ancient mythology, it was considered the sacred home of Apollo and the Muses, closely connected to the sanctuary of Delphi. Its limestone peaks, snow covered for much of the year, support forests of fir, cypress, and Mediterranean olive trees. The ecological diversity of Parnassus National Park shelters golden eagles, vultures, foxes, and rare alpine plants. Beyond its natural beauty, the mountain offers magnificent panoramic views overlooking the northern shores of the Corinth Gulf and central Greece.
