Geiranger Fjord
The Geiranger Fjord, located in Geiranger, Norway, is a dramatic glacial valley recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shaped during the last Ice Age, its steep cliffs and waterfalls like the "Seven Sisters" illustrate ancient geological processes. Its ecosystem includes birch forests, mosses, and lichens, along with wildlife such as eagles, deer, and seals. Deep waters support fish and microorganisms, sustaining a fragile ecological balance.

Geiranger Fjord
The Geirangerfjord, located in western Norway, is one of the country's most iconic natural landscapes and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005. Carved by glaciers during the last Ice Age, the fjord features steep cliffs, dramatic waterfalls such as the "Seven Sisters," and deep, crystal clear waters. Its ecosystem blends boreal forests, alpine meadows, and marine habitats. The flora includes birch and pine trees along with cold adapted plant species. The fauna is equally diverse, with mountain goats, deer, eagles, seabirds, and various fish species inhabiting the area. Historically, small farms once clung to the fjord's slopes, now abandoned, offering insight into traditional rural life. Today, the fjord's fragile ecological balance is carefully protected against the pressures of tourism and climate change.

Dalsnibba Skywalk
The Dalsnibba Skywalk viewpoint stands at 1,500 meters above sea level atop Mount Dalsnibba, near the Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Developed as a modern panoramic platform, it blends engineering with dramatic natural scenery. Historically, the area served as a seasonal mountain access route. Its alpine ecosystem includes lichens, mosses, and wildlife adapted to harsh climates. Human impact is carefully managed through sustainable tourism, protecting the pristine glacial landscape shaped by geological processes over thousands of years, still evolving today.
