Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower, completed in 1889 for the Paris Exposition, was designed by Gustave Eiffel as a symbol of French industrial progress. Initially criticized, it became a global cultural icon and major tourist attraction. Located near the Seine River, it stands within an urban setting where flora includes plane trees, lindens, and nearby ornamental gardens like the Champ de Mars. Fauna is mainly urban, featuring pigeons, sparrows, and occasional bats. Its ecosystem reflects the interaction between architecture, human activity, and adapted urban nature.

The Eiffel Tower, built for the 1889 World's Fair in Paris, stands as a symbol of French industrial innovation. Designed by Gustave Eiffel, it was initially criticized but later became a global icon. Although it is a metal urban structure, its surroundings form part of the Champ de Mars ecosystem and the Seine River area, hosting birds such as sparrows, pigeons, and swifts. Nearby vegetation includes ornamental trees, lawns, and maintained gardens. This urban microecosystem blends architecture with nature, supporting local biodiversity and providing habitat for small species adapted to modern city environments.

Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower, inaugurated in 1889 during the World's Fair in Paris, was designed by engineer Gustave Eiffel as a symbol of French industrial progress. Built from wrought iron, it reaches a height of 330 meters and has become one of the most visited monuments in the world. Although it is an urban structure, its surroundings form part of a modified ecosystem, including the Champ de Mars gardens with lawns, ornamental trees, and shrubs. The fauna consists mainly of urban-adapted species such as pigeons, sparrows, and occasional peregrine falcons nesting on high structures. Insects and small mammals also inhabit nearby green spaces. This urban ecosystem reflects the interaction between human architecture and adapted nature, where conservation and tourism coexist in balance within the heart of the city.

Alexander III Bridge
The Alexandre III Bridge, inaugurated in 1900 for the Exposition Universelle, symbolizes the Franco-Russian alliance and honors Tsar Alexander III. Spanning the Seine, it links the Champs-Élysées with Les Invalides and is renowned for its single, low arch that preserves open vistas. Its Beaux-Arts style appears in ornate lamps, nymphs, cherubs, and gilded winged horses. Designed by engineers Jean Résal and Amédée Alby, it embodies Belle Époque optimism and remains one of Paris's most lavishly decorated and iconic bridges.
