Da Nang

Da Nang is one of the most important coastal cities in central Vietnam, located between tropical mountains and the South China Sea. Its history dates back to the ancient Champa Kingdom, whose cultural influence survives through traditional sculptures and temples. During the French colonial era and the Vietnam War, Da Nang became strategically significant because of its natural harbor and military position. Today, the city blends rapid urban development with strong cultural and spiritual traditions. Da Nang's ecosystem includes sandy beaches, mangroves, tropical forests, and mountain reserves such as Sơn Trà Peninsula, home to rare wildlife like the red shanked douc langur, one of the world's most striking primates. Its tropical flora features wild orchids, bamboo groves, medicinal plants, and dense monsoon forests. Coastal waters support coral fish, sea turtles, and diverse marine species. The region's humid tropical climate sustains remarkable biodiversity and spectacular natural scenery throughout the year.

Golden Bridge

The Golden Bridge, opened in 2018 in the Bà Nà Hills near Đà Nẵng, has become one of Vietnam's most iconic landmarks. Designed to appear suspended by enormous stone hands, the bridge links gardens and scenic viewpoints more than 1,400 meters above sea level. The surrounding mountains feature a cool, humid climate that supports subtropical forests, orchids, ferns, and native bird species. Frequently surrounded by mist and tropical vegetation, the bridge provides spectacular panoramic views of central Vietnam's mountainous ecosystem and the nearby South China Sea coastline.
