Warwick Castle

Warwick Castle is a medieval fortress located on the banks of the River Avon in England. It was founded in 1068 by William the Conqueror following the Norman Conquest. Originally built of wood, it was rebuilt in stone during the 12th century. Over time, it served as both a defensive stronghold and a noble residence, particularly under the powerful Beauchamp family. During the Wars of the Roses, it played a key strategic role. Today, it is a prominent historical and tourist attraction.
