The Indian Cave

Cueva del Indio is a remarkable cave and natural arch system located along Puerto Rico's northern coast in Arecibo. Carved by the powerful Atlantic Ocean into limestone cliffs, it features dramatic rock formations, sea tunnels, and coastal arches. Its historical significance lies in the TaĆno petroglyphs etched into its walls, reflecting pre-Columbian indigenous presence. Beyond its cultural importance, it offers breathtaking ocean views and stands as a major archaeological and scenic attraction.
