The Camuy Caves, located in Camuy, Puerto Rico, are one of the largest cave systems in the world, featuring impressive caverns, underground rivers, and unique geological formations. This natural park allows visitors to explore limestone passages sculpted over millennia, showcasing spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and columns. The Camuy River, flowing beneath the surface, is one of the longest underground rivers in the Western Hemisphere. Visitors can walk along trails and observation points, encounter a variety of bats and birds, and learn about the archaeological history of the TaĆ­no people, who inhabited and navigated these caves centuries ago.

The Camuy Caves, located in Camuy, Puerto Rico, form one of the largest cave systems in the world and stand as an exceptional example of the island's karst geology. This remarkable underground network was carved over thousands of years by the Camuy River, creating extensive tunnels, chambers, and subterranean rivers. Highlights include the Grand Hall, with monumental stalactites and stalagmites, and the Camuy River, one of the longest underground rivers in the world. The caves were temporarily inhabited by the TaĆ­no people, leaving behind archaeological evidence such as tools and pottery. Today, the Camuy Cave National Park allows visitors to explore walkways and observation points that offer spectacular views of the natural formations. The park provides a unique combination of adventure, environmental education, conservation, and scientific study of its extraordinary geological features.

The Tubo de Cueva del RĆ­o TanamĆ”, located in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, is a remarkable cave system shaped by the river's erosion of limestone over thousands of years.
