Gibralfaro Castle

Gibralfaro Castle is a historic fortress located in Málaga, Spain, built in the 14th century by Yusuf I of Granada to defend the nearby Alcazaba and the city below. Perched on a hill, it offers sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea and urban center. During the Nasrid period it served as a key military stronghold. After the Catholic Monarchs conquered Málaga in 1487, it was used for strategic control. Today it stands as a well-preserved monument and major tourist attraction and an essential symbol of Andalusian heritage and culture today.
