Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar is a remarkable historic minaret built between the 12th and 13th centuries during the Delhi Sultanate period. Started by Qutb-ud-din Aibak and completed by later rulers, it rises about 73 meters high and represents early Indo Islamic architecture. Its stone carvings, inscriptions, and decorative details show a blend of Persian and Indian artistic traditions. Located within the Qutb complex, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it reflects India's rich medieval historical and cultural heritage.
