The Ladron Hotel

The Ladron Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel on Tjuvholmen in Oslo, a waterfront islet once associated with smugglers, thieves, and outcasts. That history shapes the hotel's identity: bold, contemporary, and slightly mischievous, yet firmly rooted in the city's cultural life. Designed by Mellbye Arkitekter, the building pairs modern architecture with carefully chosen designer furniture, while curator Sune Nordgren assembled a notable collection of contemporary art throughout the property. Guests find fjord-facing rooms, a restaurant focused on local ingredients, a rooftop setting, and a spa designed as a private escape. The hotel also reflects a philosophy of sustainability and local character, making it feel both urban and intimate. More than a place to stay, THE THIEF acts like a living gallery and a polished symbol of Oslo's transformed Tjuvholmen district, close to Aker Brygge and the center of the capital. Its atmosphere blends calm fjord views with a confident Scandinavian style.

National Museum

The National Museum of Norway, opened in 2022 in Oslo, brings together historic collections of art, architecture, and design once housed separately. Its roots trace back to 19th-century institutions, reflecting Norway's cultural development. The modern building emphasizes sustainability, durable materials, and energy efficiency. It houses iconic works such as "The Scream" by Edvard Munch. Its urban setting incorporates green spaces, fostering harmony between culture and nature in the contemporary Norwegian capital while encouraging environmental awareness.
