Opened in 2009 by Azerbaijani businessman Telman Ismailov, it was widely regarded as one of Europe's most expensive hotel developments, with an estimated investment of $1.4 billion. Inspired by the grandeur of Ottoman palaces, the resort features Italian marble, gold leaf details, and magnificent domes reminiscent of Istanbul's historic architecture. It is renowned for its vast swimming pool, landscaped gardens, and large aquarium habitats. Over the years, the property has become a landmark of luxury hospitality and an important symbol of high-end tourism on the Turkish Riviera.

Mardan Palace

Mardan Palace, in Lara Kundu, Antalya, is one of the most striking resort complexes on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. Conceived as a symbol of extreme luxury, it opened in 2009 after a reported investment of about $1.4 billion, and quickly drew international attention for its palatial scale, lavish décor, and grand design inspired by Ottoman and Mediterranean opulence. The resort sits on the seafront, not far from Antalya Airport, in a highly developed beach tourism area. Although management has changed over time, it is still presented today as a beachfront retreat with extensive hospitality and leisure facilities. Its story reflects Antalya's rise as a luxury tourism hub in the early 21st century, when the city became known for large-scale resorts and spectacular architecture aimed at international travelers.

Duden Waterfalls

The Düden Waterfalls, located in Kepez, Antalya, are among Turkey's most celebrated natural landmarks. Fed by the Düden River, whose waters originate in the Taurus Mountains and travel through underground karst formations, the falls emerge amid lush greenery before continuing toward the Mediterranean Sea. Admired since ancient times, the site has long attracted travelers and is associated with legends connected to Alexander the Great. Its ecosystem supports pine and cypress trees, laurels, water birds, butterflies, and small mammals. The constant moisture created by the waterfall sustains rich biodiversity and produces a cool microclimate throughout the year, making it an important ecological refuge within the Antalya region.
