SLS Baha Mar welcomed its first guests in November 2017, bringing the international SLS brand to the destination with its distinctive combination of contemporary design, sophisticated dining, entertainment, and vibrant nightlife. Today, the property offers 297 rooms, suites, and residences, many featuring generous balconies and views of Cable Beach. Facilities include dedicated swimming pools, beach access, chef driven restaurants, stylish bars, and access to Baha Mar's extensive attractions, including its casino, Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, ESPA spa, and Baha Bay water park.
Fuerte Charlotte (Fort Charlotte)
Fort Charlotte is the largest colonial fort in Nassau, Bahamas, built between 1787 and 1789 under British Governor Lord Dunmore. Positioned on a strategic hill west of downtown Nassau, it was designed to defend the entrance to Nassau Harbour. The complex includes a dry moat, dungeons, underground passageways, and cannons that were never fired in battle. Although it never saw combat, it reflects 18th century British military engineering. Today, it stands as a major historical and tourist landmark, offering panoramic views of the harbour and nearby Paradise Island.
