Opened in 1993, it is located on the Phranang Peninsula beside Krabi Marine National Park, surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs, tropical rainforest, and the famous beaches of Railay and Phra Nang. Inspired by a traditional southern Thai village, its architecture was carefully integrated into the landscape without removing existing trees. The surrounding ecosystem supports monkeys, tropical birds, reptiles, mangroves, and diverse marine life within the Andaman Sea. Renowned for its environmental philosophy, exclusivity, and spectacular scenery, Rayavadee remains a symbol of sustainable luxury in Thailand's coastal paradise.

Rayavadee

Rayavadee is one of southern Thailand's most celebrated luxury resorts, located on the breathtaking Phranang Peninsula in Railay, Krabi Province. Opened in 1993, the resort was designed to exist in harmony with its surroundings, preserving the original forest and avoiding the removal of trees during construction. Nestled between dramatic limestone cliffs, pristine white sand beaches, and the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea, the property is accessible only by boat, enhancing its sense of seclusion and exclusivity. Its distinctive architecture, inspired by traditional southern Thai villages, blends naturally into lush tropical gardens inhabited by monkeys, exotic birds, and diverse plant species. The surrounding environment includes coral reefs, mangrove forests, and vibrant marine ecosystems that support remarkable biodiversity. For more than three decades, Rayavadee has been recognized for combining world class hospitality with environmental stewardship and a deep commitment to preserving Krabi's unique coastal landscape.

Phi Phi Lee Island

Phi Phi Leh is a protected island in the Andaman Sea, located between Krabi and Phuket. It has been part of Hat Noppharat Thara Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park since 1983 and is renowned for its towering limestone cliffs, turquoise lagoons, and coral reefs. International recognition grew after the filming of The Beach at Maya Bay. The island supports tropical fish, coral communities, seabirds, and bioluminescent plankton. Following environmental pressure from mass tourism, conservation programs were introduced to protect and restore its fragile marine and coastal ecosystems.
