Windmills of Mykonos
The Windmills of Mykonos, also called Kato Mili, are among the most iconic historical landmarks of Mykonos. Built mainly between the 16th and 18th centuries under Venetian influence, these windmills used the strong Aegean winds to grind wheat and support the island's economy. Located on a hill overlooking the harbor, they provide panoramic views of the Cyclades archipelago.
