Harmona Resort & Spa Zhangjiajie is a luxury eco resort located among the dramatic valleys and mountains of Wulingyuan, one of China's most celebrated natural landscapes. Opened around 2013, the resort was developed according to five star hospitality standards and covers more than 560 mu of scenic land surrounded by forests, rivers, and limestone formations. Its architecture blends contemporary villa design with traditional Chinese aesthetics inspired by the philosophy of the Five Elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. Tianzi Mountain
Tianzi Mountain, located within the Wulingyuan Scenic Area of Zhangjiajie, is renowned for its towering quartz sandstone pillars rising through drifting mist. Its name honors Xiang Dakun, a Tujia leader called "Tianzi," who led a local uprising during the Ming Dynasty. The mountain ecosystem contains subtropical forests, wild orchids, ancient pines, and protected wildlife including macaques and golden pheasants. Seasonal changes create dramatic scenery with fog seas, winter snow, and lush greenery. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tianzi Mountain represents the remarkable geological and ecological diversity of Hunan Province.
