The Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa is one of Switzerland's most prestigious historic hotels. Located between Lakes Thun and Brienz with panoramic views of the Jungfrau massif, its story began in 1856 as the Pension Victoria. In the late nineteenth century, businessman Eduard Ruchti also acquired the neighboring Hotel Jungfrau, and in 1899 both buildings were connected by an elegant domed structure, creating the present hotel. During the Belle Époque, the property welcomed royalty, artists, intellectuals, and writers from across Europe. Today, the hotel blends classical architecture with contemporary interiors and a renowned 5,500 m² spa, preserving the refined tradition of alpine luxury hospitality in the heart of the Bernese Oberland.

Throughout the Belle Époque, the hotel welcomed royalty, writers, artists, and intellectuals drawn by the dramatic scenery of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains. Harder Kulm
Harder Kulm is Interlaken's most iconic panoramic viewpoint, located 1,322 meters above sea level. Since the late nineteenth century, the Harderbahn funicular has linked the town center with the mountain, helping establish alpine tourism in the region. Its observation platform overlooks Lakes Thun and Brienz, together with the famous Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. The alpine ecosystem includes fir forests, wildflowers, and wildlife such as marmots, foxes, and birds of prey. In summer, the surrounding trails attract hikers and visitors interested in Switzerland's rich mountain biodiversity.
