Majoro Hotel

Hotel Majoro, located near the mysterious Nazca Lines, offers a serene colonial atmosphere surrounded by wide gardens. Its historic architecture blends rustic elegance with modern comfort. Guests enjoy spacious rooms, a pool, natural paths, and peaceful areas to relax after exploring the region. Its proximity to viewpoints and the airfield makes it an ideal base to discover the famous lines, ancient pre-Hispanic aqueducts, and other cultural treasures of Peru's desert landscape.

Majoro Hotel

Hacienda Majoro is a boutique country hotel located in Vista Alegre (Panamericana Sur km 453), just minutes from Nazca town and the MarĆa Reiche airfield — the usual departure point for Nazca Lines flights. The property sits on several hectares of landscaped gardens and offers modern comforts in a traditional setting: outdoor pool, sun terrace, restaurant and sport facilities. The immediate habitat is an irrigated oasis within the arid southern coast: tree-filled gardens attract birds (peacocks and others) and there are domestic camelids like llamas and alpacas on the grounds, giving a peaceful rural feel after a day of archaeological sightseeing.

Costa Rica is a birdwatcher's paradise, home to over 900 species across diverse ecosystems. In the northern region, especially around CaƱo Negro and Arenal, you can find herons, toucans, kingfishers, and the jabiru, the largest stork in the Americas. The central highlands, including Monteverde and the Central Valley, host cloud forest species like the resplendent quetzal, bellbirds, tanagers, and colorful hummingbirds. In the Atlantic region, such as Talamanca and Cahuita National Park, tropical birds abound—parrots, scarlet macaws, trogons, toucanets, and Montezuma oropendolas. Each area offers unique landscapes and outstanding birdwatching experiences, making Costa Rica a top destination for nature lovers.

Cahuachi Pyramid (Nazca)

The Cahuachi Pyramid, located in the Nazca region, served as the main ceremonial center of the Nazca culture from the 1st to 5th centuries AD. Built with adobe, the complex features platforms, courtyards, and temples used for religious rituals and offerings. Revered as a sacred site, it hosted ceremonies related to fertility and water, vital for survival in the desert landscape. Its arid surroundings highlight the architectural and spiritual importance of one of Peru's most significant pre-Hispanic archaeological centers.

We look forward to your visit
