Help us to help others š
There are many who need a helping hand

Help us to help others š
Each one should give what he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that at all times, in every situation, you may have all you need and abound in every good work.

The Good Samaritan Home
The goal of the Good Samaritan Home (BSH) is for our helpless brothers and sisters to know the mercy of a God who loves them, who has not forgotten them, and who rescues them from misery. Our task in achieving this goal is to rescue human dignity and then bring forth from that humanity the divine being of the Son of God, made in His image and likeness, the bearer of the Divine Presence within Himself.
The Good Samaritan Home was born from the Merciful Heart of God. It was founded on August 2, 1993, and inspired by the goal of welcoming people living on the streets of Alajuela, in a situation of poverty: those who not only have nothing, nor anyone, but also no longer have themselves.

Community Encounter ā Costa Rica
"A proposal for life."
Community Encuentro was born in Italy on February 13th when a priest in Rome welcomed into his home a young addict who had asked for help. The priest's name was Pietro Gelmini, and the young man was Alfredo Nunzi.
Thus began this experience, which has developed over the years until arriving in Costa Rica on September 8, 1993, when a group of eight young people, accompanied by Father Carlo Sansonetti, opened the first house in San Vito de Coto Brus.
It's important to mention the reforestation work carried out by the community in a specific area, in conjunction with the Organization for Tropical Studies and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. To date, four homes have been opened, housing more than 100 young people struggling to regain their dignity and face life with renewed hope.
