Baisha Beach
Baisha Beach, located on the Kenting Peninsula in Pingtung County, is one of southern Taiwan's most beautiful white sand beaches. Its shoreline was formed over thousands of years from weathered coral and shell fragments, creating soft sand and crystal clear waters. Historically, the beach supported local fishing communities before becoming a popular tourist destination. Its coastal ecosystem is home to crabs, reef fish, seabirds, and nearby seagrass beds, while surrounding coral reefs provide habitat for diverse marine life and play an essential role in preserving the ecological balance of this remarkable coastline.
