Ouzoud Waterfalls

Ouzoud Waterfalls, located near the village of Tanaghmeilt in Morocco's Middle Atlas, are among the country's tallest and most spectacular waterfalls, plunging about 110 meters. For centuries, their waters have sustained nearby villages and traditional olive groves. The surrounding Mediterranean landscape features olive trees, figs, holm oaks, and aromatic plants. Wildlife includes Barbary macaques, kingfishers, eagles, reptiles, and numerous insects. Wildlife includes Barbary macaques, kingfishers, eagles, owls, swallows, reptiles, and numerous insects that contribute to the area's remarkable biodiversity. The continuous flow of fresh water creates a humid microclimate that sustains diverse plant and animal life throughout the year. Lake Bin El Ouidane

Lake Bin El Ouidane, located in the High Atlas Mountains about 70 km from the Ouzoud Waterfalls, is a reservoir created during the 1950s after the construction of a dam on the Oued El Abid River. Its turquoise waters, surrounded by forests, hills, and traditional Berber villages, create one of Morocco's most scenic landscapes.
