Ahu Akivi
Ahu Akivi is a unique ceremonial platform on Easter Island, built by the Rapa Nui people around the 16th century. It is notable for its seven moai statues facing the ocean, an unusual orientation linked to legendary explorers sent by King Hotu Matu'a. The site demonstrates advanced astronomical knowledge, as the statues align with the equinox sunset.
