It originally began as the Santiago de la Nasca Villa, later becoming an Augustinian convent in 1698, and then a cotton plantation estate. In the 20th century it was owned by the De la Borda family, who converted it into a hacienda residence and later, in the 1980s, into a hotel. Today it preserves colonial architecture, large gardens, a pool, and a peaceful atmosphere near the Nazca Lines.

Its origins date back to the 17th century, when it was founded as the Santiago de la Nasca Villa during the Spanish colonial period. In 1698, the property was converted into an Augustinian convent, and later in the 20th century it became a productive cotton hacienda under the De la Borda family. In the 1980s, the estate was adapted into a hotel while preserving much of its colonial architecture and traditional character.
