Majoro Hotel

Majoro Hotel, located in Nazca, Peru, is a historic colonial hacienda with over 400 years of history. It originally began as the Santiago de la Nasca Villa, later becoming an Augustinian convent in 1698, and then a cotton plantation estate. In the 20th century it was owned by the De la Borda family, who converted it into a hacienda residence and later, in the 1980s, into a hotel. Today it preserves colonial architecture, large gardens, a pool, and a peaceful atmosphere near the Nazca Lines.

Majoro Hotel

Majoro Hotel, located near the city of Nazca in southern Peru, is a historic hacienda that has been transformed into a charming countryside hotel. Its origins date back to the 17th century, when it was founded as the Santiago de la Nasca Villa during the Spanish colonial period. In 1698, the property was converted into an Augustinian convent, and later in the 20th century it became a productive cotton hacienda under the De la Borda family. In the 1980s, the estate was adapted into a hotel while preserving much of its colonial architecture and traditional character. Today, Hotel Majoro offers guests a unique blend of history and comfort, surrounded by extensive gardens, restored colonial buildings, and peaceful natural landscapes. Its proximity to the world-famous Nazca Lines makes it a strategic base for cultural and archaeological exploration, combining heritage, relaxation, and the mystique of the Peruvian desert.



Cahuachi Archaeological Complex

Cahuachi is a vast archaeological complex located in the Nazca Valley in Nazca on the southern coast of Peru. It was the main ceremonial center of the Nazca culture between the 1st and 5th centuries CE. This sacred site was not a permanent city, but a pilgrimage and ritual gathering place. Its adobe structures include pyramids, plazas, and temples. Scholars believe it was closely connected to the famous Nazca Lines. Today it stands as an important archaeological heritage site of great historical value and significance, recognized for spiritual cultural importance worldwide heritage.
