The Spring of Silence
The hotel El Manantial del Silencio, located in the heart of the Humahuaca Ravine near Purmamarca, is considered one of the pioneering boutique accommodations in the region. Opened at the beginning of the 21st century, it was designed by architect Mariano Sepúlveda in a Spanish neocolonial style, blending harmoniously with the Andean landscape through the use of adobe, stone, and cane. The Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, provides an outstanding cultural and natural setting. The hotel emerged at a time when tourism infrastructure in the area was scarce, helping stimulate local development. Its interiors feature traditional textiles and artifacts from northern Argentina, reflecting regional heritage. It is also renowned for its Andean gourmet cuisine, emphasizing local ingredients and sustainability. Over time, it has become a symbol of tranquility, cultural identity, and refined hospitality in northwestern Argentina.

Hornocal Mountain Ranges
The Hornocal Mountain Ranger, located in Argentina's Quebrada de Humahuaca in Jujuy province, are a striking mountain formation known as the "Hill of 14 Colors." Rising to about 4,700 meters, they are composed of limestone from the Yacoraite formation, dating back to the Late Cretaceous period. Their vivid colors and zigzag patterns result from millions of years of sedimentation and erosion. This landscape forms part of the Quebrada, a valley inhabited since prehistoric times and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding cultural and natural significance.
