Belmond The Little Houses of Colca is a luxury boutique hotel located in the Colca Valley near Yanque in the Arequipa region of Peru. Set at high altitude, it is surrounded by dramatic mountains, pre-Inca agricultural terraces, and the deep Colca Canyon, one of the world's deepest canyons. Its modern history began when the former Parador del Colca lodge was transformed and reopened in 2008 as Casitas del Colca, later becoming part of the Belmond collection. The property was designed as a small Andean village with 20 independent casitas built using local materials such as adobe, stone, and traditional clay-tiled roofs. Each casita features a private terrace, plunge pool or jacuzzi, fireplace, and panoramic valley views. The hotel emphasizes sustainability, local farming, and refined hospitality. It serves as a peaceful retreat for exploring the Colca Canyon, observing the Andean condor, and experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the Peruvian Andes.
Sangalle Oasis
Sangalle Oasis, in Peru's Colca Canyon, is a green refuge shaped by springs and agricultural terraces at the base of towering cliffs.
