The Paracas Hotel, a Luxury Collection Resort, is one of the most iconic accommodations in Paracas Bay on Peru's southern coast. Its history dates back to 1944, when it was originally founded by Emilio Guimoye as a modest seaside hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Over time, it evolved alongside the growth of tourism around the Paracas National Reserve, becoming a more established destination. After being severely damaged by the 2007 earthquake, the original structure was demolished and fully redesigned, reopening in 2009 as a modern luxury resort. The new architecture blends contemporary, minimalist design with natural materials inspired by the surrounding desert and sea. Today, the hotel features a private dock, spa, swimming pools, and gourmet restaurants, and it serves as a gateway to the region's rich biodiversity, including boat trips to the Ballestas Islands and the cultural heritage of the ancient Paracas civilization.
